Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting K-12 students across a vibrant school community for the 2026-2027 academic year. Skilled Speech-Language Pathologists are sought for two on-site positions, working district-wide to empower learners in settings ranging from elementary schools—serving both regular education and autistic support classrooms—to secondary campuses, which include learning support, life skills, and autistic support environments.
Position Details:
- Contract runs from August 18, 2026 through May 27, 2027.
- Full-time: 35 hours per week
- Caseloads include elementary (50-55 students, some case management) and secondary (60 students, minimal case management, with several on reduced service delivery).
- Support provided to both the North Eastern School District’s elementary and secondary students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification (SLP Cert)
- Teaching certification required (must be provided with resume)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with K-12 caseloads including regular, learning support, life skills, and autistic support, is highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills for effective case management
- Flexibility to move between school sites, supporting students as needs arise
- Passion for assisting children in achieving communication milestones in a team-focused environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services to students across elementary, middle, and high schools
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Manage a caseload varying in size and student needs, adapting service delivery accordingly
