Step into a role supporting K-6 students with speech and language needs in a collaborative educational setting near New Oxford, PA. This contract opportunity is ideal for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who enjoys working with diverse student populations, particularly those in need of targeted interventions. You’ll positively impact a caseload of 25-30 students, mainly speech-only, with a few dual diagnoses, across two dedicated days each week—Tuesdays and Thursdays preferred. The typical workday runs from 8 AM to 3:30 PM, with instruction from 8:30 AM to 3 PM.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Pennsylvania State SLP License
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish
  • Prior experience within K-6 school settings
  • Familiarity with executive functioning, social learning approaches, and selective mutism
  • Experience using IEPWriter and Synergy platforms is strongly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to K-6 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Support students with executive functioning and social communication challenges
  • Track and document progress using IEPWriter and Synergy systems
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with families and staff
  • Contribute expertise to help all learners develop their communication skills and achieve educational goals
