Make a difference in the lives of children by providing expert speech-language pathology services through a flexible, contract-based position supporting local schools near New York, NY. This role is an excellent opportunity for dedicated SLP professionals who are passionate about enhancing communication skills in pediatric populations, whether on-site or via teletherapy.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in school or healthcare settings and feel comfortable managing a diverse pediatric caseload, including students with complex speech and language needs. This contract position is suitable for SLPs holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), as well as clinical fellows (CFY) eager to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • CCC-SLP or CFY status welcomed
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
  • Teletherapy experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to different student needs and IEP requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions in-person and/or via teletherapy platforms
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required
  • Provide support and recommendations to school staff and families
