Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | New York, New York

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or those pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Skilled with teletherapy platforms and comfortable delivering services virtually as needed
• Proficiency with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Deliver speech and language therapy sessions in-person or via teletherapy
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and complete required documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s communication goals
• Educate staff and parents on communication strategies and promote generalization of skills across settings
