Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students using evidence-based practices
- Maintain accurate progress notes, documentation, and reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support generalization of skills in the classroom and at home
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions regarding student needs
- Foster a positive, supportive environment to help every student reach their full potential
