Grades 6 - 8 Grades 9 - 12 Speech Language Pathologist in New York, NY

We’re seeking skilled, certified professionals to deliver crucial speech-language therapy services across elementary, middle, and high school grades. Key Qualifications:

• Licensed and certified SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist)
• Experience working with students with Autism preferred
• Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices such as TouchChat, LAMP, or Proloquo highly desirable
• Previous school-based experience, especially with K–12 populations, is advantageous
• Strong documentation and organizational skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy sessions each day, with a caseload of approximately 50 sessions per week
• Provide daily treatment, complete thorough daily notes, and maintain accurate session attendance
• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual progress reports, including drafting sections of IEPs as assigned
• Conduct monthly self-audits of documentation and attendance records to ensure compliance
• Collaborate positively with other educational staff to support student outcomes

Openings include a full-time role (30 hours weekly), a part-time option (2–3 days per week, flexible depending on caseload and availability), and a temporary maternity leave position running from July to October. Session hours run from 8:30am to 2:00pm, with a half-hour lunch break provided each day.
