Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students across grades K–12 while utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract position, located near New York, NY, offers a blend of flexibility and meaningful engagement, serving a diverse student population aged 12–21.

Set within a welcoming school environment, you’ll provide IEP-mandated speech-language therapy services as part of a passionate educational team. Work-life balance is emphasized, with a schedule of 25–30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 2:30pm. The assignment runs from March 1, 2026, through June 1, 2026. Options for teletherapy or a hybrid model may be available, pending district preference.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and certification required.
  • Experience supporting K–12 students, with a demonstrated history of working with resistant youth.
  • Skill in delivering services within a school-based, IEP-driven framework.
  • Ability to build rapport with students across a range of ages and backgrounds.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable to varied educational settings and therapy delivery models (in-person, remote, or hybrid).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver IEP-mandated speech and language services to eligible students.
  • Establish trust and engagement with students, including those who may be resistant.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals.
  • Maintain clear clinical records in alignment with school and district practices.
  • Provide progress updates and contribute to meetings as required.
