Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status accepted
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in schools is a plus, but not required
- Compassionate, collaborative, and creative in therapy delivery
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, interventions, and therapy for students with a range of speech and language needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support each student’s individualized educational plan (IEP)
- Document therapy sessions, maintain records, and track student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and offer input on student growth and strategies
- Adapt materials and methods to engage diverse student populations
