Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status accepted
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Previous experience in schools is a plus, but not required
  • Compassionate, collaborative, and creative in therapy delivery

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, interventions, and therapy for students with a range of speech and language needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support each student’s individualized educational plan (IEP)
  • Document therapy sessions, maintain records, and track student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and offer input on student growth and strategies
  • Adapt materials and methods to engage diverse student populations
