Located in close proximity to Newark, DE, this flexible contract opportunity offers the chance to work full-time or part-time hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
As an important part of a dedicated educational team, your expertise in SLP will help foster communication and language development for children in need. Whether you are experienced with traditional on-site therapy, teletherapy, pediatric caseloads, or the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your skills can make a measurable impact on students’ academic and social growth.
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Valid Delaware SLP License (required)
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcome
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-based populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Provide direct interventions to preschool and elementary students
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Engage in teletherapy or in-person services as assigned
