Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Prior professional experience as a School-based SLP
  • American Sign Language (ASL) knowledge is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for helping students reach their full communication potential

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy services to students
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and establish treatment goals tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy into the classroom setting
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with program requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and offer support across a range of educational scenarios
