This in-person only contract-to-hire position is ideal for a compassionate SLP who thrives on empowering children and collaborating with a dedicated education team. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligible)
  • Prior school-based SLP experience is strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and caseload management
  • Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Commitment to on-site (in-person) services; remote work is not available

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans to address communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support students’ IEP goals
  • Complete accurate, timely records, progress notes, and student reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and team discussions when needed
  • Offer guidance and resources to families and staff for effective carryover strategies
