Step into an impactful roles supporting students’ communication growth in an educational setting near Newark, DE. This contract opportunity calls for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to deliver essential therapy and intervention for center-based preschoolers, itinerant students in local childcare, and individuals on a high school and 18-22 transition caseload. The assignment runs from July 6th, 2026 through August 6th, 2026, with orientation and set-up on the first day. Join an in-person team committed to meeting diverse needs and positively influencing young lives over the summer.

Open opportunities include:

  • Two SLPs serving a center-based preschool caseload. There’s also the opportunity to expand into Monday work with preschool itinerant students in community childcare environments if desired.
  • One SLP to support a high school and 18-22 transition student caseload, helping young adults develop critical communication skills for life after graduation.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State licensure (Delaware) or eligibility by assignment start date
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) status accepted
  • Previous experience in pediatric, preschool, or young adult settings valued
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Commitment to in-person service delivery; remote/virtual not available for this assignment
