Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered; experience in pediatric, healthcare, or educational settings preferred
  • SLPA applicants are welcome with appropriate certification and licensure
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students in school settings
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Conduct both in-person and virtual/teletherapy sessions as needed
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and federal/state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, coordinate with teachers and other service providers, and engage parents in the therapy process
  • Support student progress through evidence-based interventions and ongoing monitoring
