Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA considered)
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings highly valued
- Teletherapy and in-person therapy experience preferred
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families across diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy to children with communication and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines and student needs
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of student progress and response to therapy
- Provide consultative support and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Utilize virtual platforms for teletherapy services as needed
- Supervise and support SLPA team members as applicable
- Engage in continued professional development to stay current with advancements in the field
