School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Newark, Delaware

Key Qualifications:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship eligibility (CFY)
• School-based experience working with young children, especially in Autism and inclusion programs, strongly preferred
• Demonstrated effectiveness in assessment, therapy, and collaboration with teachers and families
• Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP
• In-person availability and commitment to the full assignment period

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to preschool and kindergarten students in both Autism and inclusion settings
• Complete speech/language evaluations, contribute to IEPs, and document progress consistently
• Collaborate with teachers, related service staff, and families to support students’ needs and integrate communication goals within classroom activities
• Implement evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to each student's abilities and needs
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development as appropriate
