Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children
  • Familiarity with both traditional and autism caseloads is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to student-centered practices

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite speech and language therapy services for elementary students in traditional and autism programs
  • Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and design targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student progress and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy, assessments, and treatment outcomes
  • Adapt therapy methods and materials to fit diverse student needs and learning environments
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives

Role Details:

  • Assignment from ASAP through June 12, 2026
  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • $50–$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
