School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Newark, Delaware

Exciting opportunity available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work onsite in a school-based setting near Newark, DE. This contract position supports students through direct intervention, collaboration, and specialized communication programs, making a meaningful impact on diverse learners from now through June 12, 2026. The position is full time, with 37.5 hours per week and offers a pay rate between $50 and $60 an hour, commensurate with experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current, active Delaware SLP license
• Prior experience working in school settings is strongly preferred
• Expertise supporting elementary-aged children, including those on the autism spectrum
• Skilled at developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
• Comfortable working onsite, providing group and individual therapy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services for a split elementary caseload (traditional and autism support)
• Assess students’ communication abilities and create targeted treatment goals
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school policies
• Consult and collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and support teams
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise regarding student progress
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students on your caseload
