Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication needs with several contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunities in dynamic educational environments. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to foster growth, whether you prefer to work in-person or virtually. Multiple assignments and student populations offer the chance to tailor your experience to your strengths and interests, making a meaningful impact from preschool through high school.

Open Assignments Include:

  • Two full-time elementary positions (grades 1–5), August 25 to November 13, 2026—virtual candidates welcome.
  • One full-time middle and high school role (grades 6–12, split between two buildings), November 6 to February 17, 2026—virtual participation considered. Candidates may transition from an August leave.
  • One full-time preschool opening (ages 3–4), August 25 to October 16, 2026—in-person only.
  • One full-time Kindergarten SLP (primarily Autism caseload), August 25 to November 13, 2026—in-person only.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Delaware.
  • CCC-SLP preferred for virtual roles; strong CFs considered for on-site placements.
  • Recent school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to each student’s IEP goals.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
