Exciting contract opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) ready to make a difference in schools near Newark, DE. This rewarding position allows you to support students across a variety of educational settings and age groups. Opportunities include multiple full-time roles serving elementary, middle, high school, preschool, and Kindergarten populations, each with a different focus and timeframe. Some positions are open to both in-person and virtual candidates, providing flexibility for the right applicant.

Openings include:

  • 2 elementary SLPs for 1st–5th grade caseloads from August 25, 2026, to November 13, 2026 (virtual or in-person considered)
  • 1 SLP for a shared middle and high school role covering grades 6–12 from November 6, 2026, to February 17, 2027 (virtual or in-person considered; opportunity to continue from a preceding elementary leave)
  • 1 preschool SLP for ages 3–4 from August 25, 2026, to October 16, 2026 (in-person required)
  • 1 Kindergarten SLP focusing on an Autism caseload from August 25, 2026, to November 13, 2026 (in-person required)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are welcome
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly regarded
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student performance and goals
  • Deliver both direct and consultative services in accordance with student needs and district guidelines
