Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure/certification or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to improving student outcomes and advocating for best practices
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Consult with staff and families on effective classroom and home strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and related school activities
