This rewarding contract opportunity focuses on supporting children from Pre-K3 through 6th grade with mild to moderate disabilities. You'll have the chance to collaborate with a dedicated school community, making a real difference for a caseload of approximately 40-50 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Eligible for state licensure (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Experience or strong interest in working with students in grades Pre-K3 to 6th
- Skilled in providing individualized and group therapy sessions
- Adept at developing IEPs and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders in school-aged children
- Design and implement speech-language intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Consult with teachers and families to support students’ academic and social development
- Create a positive, encouraging environment that empowers students to meet communication milestones
