Step into a rewarding opportunity as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students from PreK-3 through 6th grade at a local school near Newark, MD. Provide impactful services to a diverse student caseload of 40-50 children with mild to moderate disabilities. As an SLP with CCC credentials, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve vital communication milestones within a supportive educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active and valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills for managing an elementary caseload
  • Commitment to evidence-based interventions and inclusive educational practices

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing IEP goals
  • Conduct therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups, tailored to students’ needs
  • Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain ongoing communication with teachers and parents
  • Employ creative and engaging strategies to foster student participation and progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to foster student success
