Pediatric SLP in Newark, NJ

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ SLP license
• Possess a current NJ Department of Education certification
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Background in school-based and/or pediatric speech-language services
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

What you’ll do:

• Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver speech-language therapy to students individually and in small groups
• Maintain accurate and timely session documentation
• Consult effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Advocate for the communication needs of students
