Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP
  • Background in pediatric speech and language evaluation and therapy
  • Experience working within educational or healthcare systems, specifically serving school-age children
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social success
  • Document progress, maintain required records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy based on each student’s needs
  • Provide consultative support for classroom modifications and strategies
  • Stay current with practices in school-based speech-language therapy and comply with all applicable regulations
