As a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting, you’ll have the unique opportunity to:
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain in NJ)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous school-based SLP experience or pediatric experience is an advantage
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and swallowing assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Coordinate therapy and intervention services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
