A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school setting. This role involves working directly with students to support their communication needs, ensuring they receive the best possible care and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
  • Track student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification or licensure appropriate for school settings.
  • Experience providing speech and language therapy to children in educational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language developmental milestones and disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies to diverse student populations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to different school sites within the Newark area.
