Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with school-age students, preferably in middle or high school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to create an encouraging and inclusive therapeutic space
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and document student progress according to school and state guidelines
- Deliver engaging interventions tailored to diverse communication needs, including articulation, language, and fluency
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer guidance on communication strategies and classroom accommodations
