A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to work with young learners ages 3-4. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, with immediate start and flexibility through June, serving a manageable caseload of 40-50 students. You'll enjoy a collaborative, supportive environment while helping children develop crucial early communication skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license for practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working with preschool-aged children, ideally in a school or early intervention setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool-aged students
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting each student’s specific needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support each child’s communication goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Consult with parents/guardians, providing updates and strategies for home reinforcement
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based approaches for student success
