Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of students presenting with speech and language difficulties
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to specific communication goals
- Leading engaging therapy sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and related challenges
- Documenting student progress accurately and maintaining detailed records
- Working closely with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to foster holistic student support
- Offering guidance, training, and encouragement to families throughout the therapy process
Preferred background and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (required)
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience working with children and young adults in educational settings is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team
To be eligible, candidates must hold an active license granted by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology and have secured, or be in the process of obtaining, a Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
