Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP–CCC) required
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of elementary caseloads, with a passion for supporting younger students
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate strategies into the classroom and at home
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Attend IEP meetings, contribute to team discussions, and assist with program development
  • Educate and support staff and parents on strategies to facilitate language growth and social communication
