Key Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with delivering therapy plans tailored to elementary-aged children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify speech and language disorders in elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
  • Monitor student progress, documenting and communicating outcomes to families and staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable input to multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate and support teachers and parents regarding strategies to support communication development
