Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current California SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Demonstrated experience working in educational settings with children and adolescents
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ unique needs
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, progress reviews, and interdisciplinary consultations
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Educate teachers, staff, and families on strategies to support communication goals in daily environments
