Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current California SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working in educational settings with children and adolescents
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ unique needs
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, progress reviews, and interdisciplinary consultations
  • Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services, both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Educate teachers, staff, and families on strategies to support communication goals in daily environments
