A school-based opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about empowering preschoolers and a small number of school-aged children. In this full-time contract position, you will provide services Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, managing a caseload of approximately 30 students. Your advanced clinical skills will help shape students’ communication development and partner closely with educators and family members.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure for Ohio or eligibility for certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- Prior experience in schools or pediatrics preferred
- Strong rapport-building skills to engage preschool and school-aged students
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and deliver targeted therapy for students with diverse communication needs
- Maintain compliant, timely documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal planning
- Provide guidance and resources to classroom teams as needed
