Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position begins in September and continues through June, with flexible scheduling options to suit your needs. You’ll manage a diverse caseload of approximately 35 students, focusing on thorough assessments, personalized therapy, and meaningful collaboration with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy, adapting interventions to help each student reach their full potential
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and support staff to create effective accommodations and modifications
- Track and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments as necessary
- Contribute expertise during IEP meetings, helping set and achieve impactful student goals
- Serve as a resource for parents and caregivers, offering valuable support and guidance
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) in the state
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) accepted
- Background working with school-aged children, especially within the school system, is preferred
- Familiarity with school-based IEP processes and relevant education law
- Exceptional communication and collaborative abilities
