This contract opportunity offers a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist the chance to work full-time across the complete school year, summer session, and even into the next academic year if desired.
You’ll collaborate with an enthusiastic educational team to help students with a range of needs, from mild articulation challenges to mild-to-moderate disabilities involving language deficits, as well as students requiring AAC support. Your expertise will make a lasting difference as you rotate between two school locations—spending two days per week at one site and three days at the other.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current SLP license and certification required
- Experience servicing elementary, middle, and Pre-K students preferred
- Comfort with mild articulation and mild-to-moderate disabilities involving language deficits
- Familiarity with AAC strategies and devices
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in TK-6th
- Evaluate students and develop targeted IEP goals and treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff across both campuses
- Manage small caseloads of students with diverse needs, tailoring interventions appropriately
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports
Schedule & Structure:
- Staff workdays: 7:45 am–3:15 pm at School 1 (two days/week), 8:15 am–3:45 pm at School 2 (three days/week)
- Assignment starts as soon as possible: finish the current school year (ending June 11), extend for ESY through July 17, with potential to continue into the next academic year beginning August 5
