Make a real difference in students’ lives by providing essential speech and language support across two dynamic school campuses for the current academic year—and beyond if you wish! This full-time contract opportunity lies in a vibrant, supportive environment serving a diverse TK-6th grade population. You’ll have the chance to partner with both general and special education teams to deliver high-impact services to students.

This assignment involves working with students experiencing a range of needs, from mild articulation issues to mild-moderate language deficits, as well as some individuals requiring AAC intervention. Your week will be split between two welcoming campuses: spend two days at one site (7:45am–3:15pm) and three days at another (8:15am–3:45pm), enabling you to build relationships and bring continuity to your services.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

  • Valid SLP licensure and certification required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children (Pre-K to 6th Grade)
  • Familiarity with mild-moderate disabilities and AAC approaches
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and implement IEP goals driven by speech-language assessments

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Assess, track, and document student progress and maintain up-to-date records
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Design and modify therapy plans to meet each student’s unique needs
