Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in Pre-K through 6th grade across two vibrant school campuses. In this full-time role, you’ll collaborate within nurturing elementary and middle school environments, helping students with varying communication needs, from mild articulation issues to mild and moderate disabilities with language deficits, and some with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) requirements.

You’ll work two days each week at one school and three days at the other, benefiting from structured staff hours (7:45am–3:15pm and 8:15am–3:45pm, respectively). Begin as soon as possible, and choose your ideal schedule: finish out the current school year (ending June 11), extend into the summer ESY program (June 17–July 17), or continue into the next academic year starting August 5.

What you’ll bring:

  • Active state licensure and SLP certification
  • Experience serving elementary and middle school or Pre-K–6th grade students
  • Expertise working with students with mild articulation and language deficits
  • Familiarity with supporting AAC users a plus
  • Ability to adapt communication strategies for diverse student populations
  • Collaborative spirit and strong organizational skills

Day-to-day includes:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Partnering with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Supporting students in classroom and 1:1 settings
  • Monitoring progress, maintaining detailed records, and adjusting plans as needed
  • Serving both the current school year (CSY), summer (ESY), and next school year (NSY) as preferred
