Licensed Pre K Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Newhall, CA

Make a meaningful impact in school communities by providing speech-language services to students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade. This full-time contract opportunity invites an experienced, certified SLP to work across two welcoming sites, supporting learners with mild articulation needs, mild-to-moderate language disabilities, and some AAC requirements. As the dedicated clinician for both elementary and pre-K students, you’ll help develop communication skills that will enrich their educational experience.

Enjoy a varied schedule that places you two days a week at one campus (7:45am–3:15pm) and three days at another (8:15am–3:45pm). You’ll deliver intervention, assessment, and consultation throughout the traditional school year, with the option to participate in summer ESY programming—and the possibility to return for the following academic year.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for diverse student needs
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Supervising and providing strategies for AAC device use (as needed)
• Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with district and regulatory standards
• Supporting students with mild articulation issues as well as those facing moderate language-based disabilities

Desired qualifications:

• Valid state SLP licensure and ASHA certification
• Prior track record working with elementary, pre-K, or middle school students
• Experience with mild articulation, moderate disabilities, and AAC preferred
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
