A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to provide on-site therapy services within an elementary school setting located in Newkirk, OK. This role focuses on supporting students from Pre-K through 5th grade with a manageable caseload designed to promote speech and language development in young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in grades Pre-K through 5, addressing a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with a supportive educational team including teachers, staff, and other related service providers
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ educational goals
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school policies and professional regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive therapeutic environment
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) with appropriate licensure and certification
- Experience or interest in working within school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
- Ability to create engaging, evidence-based therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Commitment to professional growth and adherence to ethical standards
