Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services at Welch Elementary. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with elementary-aged students in a supportive school environment focused on student success and communication development.

Position Details

• Full-time, onsite position
• Elementary school setting
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams
• Provide evaluations, therapy services, and IEP support
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance standards

Required Certifications

• Certified School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia
• Active Georgia Teaching Certification required

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Support students with communication, articulation, language, and fluency needs
• Maintain timely and accurate records

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in a school setting preferred
