Speech Language Pathologist in Newport News, VA

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEP/504 goals in partnership with interdisciplinary teams
• Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Track and document progress to support ongoing student success
• Collaborate thoughtfully with teachers, administrators, and families

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience with pediatric and school-based populations valued
• Familiarity with teletherapy, healthcare, and varied settings a plus
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
