Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and address students’ fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and self-regulation needs
- Design and implement individualized education program (IEP/504) goals and classroom accommodations
- Provide direct therapy services, in-class (push-in) support, and consult with instructional staff
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Recommend and adapt equipment, materials, and environments to foster student independence
- Maintain thorough documentation and monitor progress toward targeted goals
Desired Qualifications:
- Active or eligible state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- NBCOT certification (preferred)
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy (preferred)
- Familiarity with assistive technology and sensory strategies considered a strong asset
- Commitment to supporting a diverse, K–12 caseload
