Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible Virginia state SLP license
  • SLP-CCC or CFY candidates considered (must be onsite; no remote options)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to fostering student success and collaborating with educational teams
  • Ability to adapt to a varied caseload and school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate student records and documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student development
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions that address students’ unique needs
  • Monitor progress and adapt therapeutic strategies as appropriate
