School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Newport News, Virginia

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP-CCC or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Current (or eligible) Virginia licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Passion for helping school-aged children overcome communication challenges
• Previous school-based experience is appreciated, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
• Support the delivery of direct and consultative therapeutic services in an educational setting
