Step into an impactful role for the upcoming 26/27 school year as a School Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students across mixed caseloads from kindergarten through 12th grade. Located near Newport News, VA, this contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your students’ growth while working collaboratively with educators and families.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Virginia
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable managing diverse caseloads that span various age groups and needs
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation systems is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
  • Foster an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment for all students
