SLP in Newport, NH

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students by supporting speech and language growth in a welcoming school environment for the 2026-27 academic year. This contract-based opportunity is designed for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists holding a current CCC certification. Based near Newport, NH, you'll have the chance to work with a diverse caseload (to be determined), collaborating with educators and families to positively impact student communication and learning.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid, active SLP license with CCC credentials
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language therapy preferred
• Ability to work in person throughout the assignment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible, team-oriented mindset, open to serving K-12 populations
• Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic student support
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and professional development as needed
• Stay current with best practices and compliance in school-based SLP services

Position Details:

• 35 hours per week, following the academic calendar
• Onsite role, running from August 19, 2026, to June 3, 2027
• Caseload will be assigned closer to assignment start
