Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting student communication needs as an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) in a school-based setting. This assignment begins January 4th and runs through May 24th, offering a structured schedule of 35 hours per week, though applications for part-time are also welcome. Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but enthusiastic and qualified SLPs are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Willingness to supervise and support SLPA’s as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, intervention, and therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to student needs, adjusting strategies to maximize progress and engagement
  • Provide guidance and oversight for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as part of your collaborative approach
