Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist)
  • Previous experience in a school environment is highly valued
  • Strong background in assessment, treatment planning, and individualized education program (IEP) development
  • Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students
  • Develop tailored therapy plans and provide direct intervention to meet each child’s unique needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on supporting students with speech/language needs
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and help design effective strategies to foster student growth
