Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP state license or the ability to obtain one prior to start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in groups
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Provide consultative support and resources for teachers and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
