A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in Newtown, CT, offering an opportunity to work onsite within a school setting for the upcoming academic year. This contract role focuses primarily on providing speech and language services to 5th and 6th-grade students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized speech-language therapy programs
  • Manage a caseload consisting predominantly of 5th and 6th graders
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication development
  • Present Clinical Fellows (CFs) and provide mentorship as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working within a school environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and staff
  • Ability to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
  • Commitment to supporting educational goals and fostering student success

Location: Onsite position located in Newtown, CT
