This full-time contract-to-hire opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) ready to work with an enthusiastic group of approximately 50 students. The assignment runs from July 31, 2026, to May 27, 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting impact throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) through ASHA
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in a school setting
- Prior school-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varied speech and language needs
- Organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and developing individualized treatment plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, or communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy sessions—both individual and group—aligned with best practices and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ academic and social success in the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, updating goals and strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for support
