School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Niagara Falls, New York

Shape the future of young learners as an onsite Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near the scenic Niagara Falls, NY. Two full-time contract roles are available, working directly with students to help them develop essential communication skills in supportive school environments.

One opportunity involves splitting your time between a high school life skills program (about 70% of the week) and a nearby non-public school (about 30%). Your schedule runs from 7:30am to 2:45pm, Monday through Friday, with a balanced caseload and time set aside for lunch and planning. This assignment spans from late October through January 2027.

The second position is based in a bustling middle school, where you’ll engage with students primarily in 7-8 daily 30-minute sessions. The day begins at 8:30am and winds down by 3:30pm. Enjoy consistent breaks for lunch and planning. This contract extends from early November to the end of January.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Active SLP license in New York (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates and CCC-SLPs encouraged to apply)
• School-based SLP experience or strong clinical practicum background
• Comfortable delivering therapy and working collaboratively within educational teams
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and interact respectfully with families, staff, and students
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy in group and individual settings
• Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families for student support
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
