Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' IEP goals.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy sessions and document student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in school-based meetings, contribute to planning, and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License.
- Strong preference for prior school-based experience.
- Completion of Florida fingerprinting requirements; prior prints via AHCA Clearinghouse may be valid.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize caseload demands, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Comfortable serving a diverse student population, including elementary and Pre-K levels; specific caseload details will be shared during interviews.
This full-time contract role will have you supporting students for up to 37.5 hours per week from August through early June, providing stability throughout the school year. All work is completed on-site—virtual arrangements are not available for this position.
