Desired Background:
- Active Florida DOH Provisional SLP License is required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
- Ability to transition quickly within a collaborative educational team
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress reporting, and data-driven instruction
- Dedication to individual student growth and inclusive educational practices
- Fingerprinting clearance through AHCA Clearinghouse; previous clearance may expedite onboarding
- Willingness to travel between assigned schools as needed
Your Role Will Involve:
- Delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to students
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and writing clear, comprehensive reports
- Collaborating on IEP teams to develop and monitor effective, personalized plans
- Supporting teachers and families with training, consultation, and strategy development
- Managing time effectively between schools or within one dedicated campus
- Maintaining timely, compliant records and progress notes
