Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Greenwood, SC, and the surrounding area. You'll play a vital part in helping students communicate effectively and reach their academic goals. Two opportunities are open—one focusing exclusively on secondary education, and the other involving a mixed, itinerant caseload across multiple school sites. The position is full-time with a flexible 4-day workweek, starting July 17th, 2026, and follows a standard 190-day contract.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active SLP license and relevant certification for South Carolina schools
  • Experience working with high school and/or middle school-aged students
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and best practices in speech and language intervention
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
  • Comfort with secondary education caseloads or providing itinerant SLP support across multiple sites
  • Organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic school settings
  • New graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assess and provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in secondary education or mixed itinerant settings
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans using current evidence-based methods
  • Collaborate closely with educators and special education teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all student services and progress
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to creating positive learning environments
  • Adapt service delivery to meet the needs and schedules across different schools as required
