Qualifications and Desired Background:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience providing school-based or pediatric speech-language services preferred
- Willingness to supervise a Clinical Fellow (CF) – supervision support will be coordinated
- California SLP license, or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment
- Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Passion for fostering growth and success in young learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve a caseload of approximately 55 students with mild to moderate needs
- Provide direct therapy services and participate in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, specialists, and families to develop IEP goals and support student achievement
- Ensure accurate documentation in line with district and legal requirements
- Supervise a Clinical Fellow, supporting their professional development (no need for SLPA oversight)
- Work full-time across two elementary school locations (3 days at one, 2 at another)
