Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in Indiana, or eligibility to obtain
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and implementing treatment for a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong understanding of IEP procedures, compliance, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Compassionate approach with an ability to engage, motivate, and empower students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and establish SLP goals
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students in K-12th grade
- Provide both direct and consultative services in alignment with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service professionals for comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records, documentation, and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
- Foster a supportive and encouraging therapeutic environment
