School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Norfolk, Virginia

A rewarding opportunity awaits for a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist to help students reach their fullest communication potential during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position embraces the school-based calendar, offering stability and a balanced schedule from August 2026 through June 2027. Serving students from kindergarten through high school, you’ll play a pivotal role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders.

In this collaborative environment, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators to develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual needs. Compensation is highly competitive and based on experience, with hourly rates ranging from $45 to $55.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology state license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Experience with pediatric or school-based populations is highly desirable
• Familiarity with IEP/504 processes and best practices for speech and language services across K–12
• Openness to providing both direct and teletherapy services is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
• Develop, implement, and track progress toward IEP or 504 Plan goals
• Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support academic and social success
