For the 2026–2027 academic year, you’ll empower learners from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting motor, sensory, and self-regulation development in an engaging learning environment. This contract position not only follows the school calendar with built-in holidays and summers off, but also provides the chance to collaborate with a passionate multidisciplinary team.
What You’ll Tackle:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver individualized therapy for fine motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor needs
- Develop and implement personalized IEP and 504 plan goals, accommodations, and progress monitoring
- Provide a blend of direct therapy, classroom push-in services, and consultative support to teachers and staff
- Partner closely with educators, special education professionals, and families to promote student independence
- Adapt equipment and modify classroom environments for optimal student access and success
- Maintain thorough, timely service documentation and report on student progress
Expertise We Value:
- Current state Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
- NBCOT certification (preferred)
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads is highly valued
- Familiarity with assistive technology and sensory strategies is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
