Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Previous experience working in school settings is preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education requirements

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide therapy for students with diverse speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to school, state, and federal guidelines
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student achievement
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine student needs and appropriate interventions
• Provide education and training to staff and families as needed on communication strategies
