Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
- Previous experience working in school settings is preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and special education requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide therapy for students with diverse speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to school, state, and federal guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student achievement
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine student needs and appropriate interventions
- Provide education and training to staff and families as needed on communication strategies
