Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid SLP license in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working in a school setting is strongly valued
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to cultural competence and inclusive therapy practice

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a K-12 school population
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, special educators, counselors, and families to support holistic student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation on student evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes
• Provide consultative services and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
• Offer guidance and professional support to classroom staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations
